a dirty, dimly-lit, blue-lit back-alley, early evening, possible errand-run in the city, handheld-camera snapshots, low quality, shaky, grainy, flashes barely illuminating 2 barefoot girl friends, 13 & 12 years old, pale-complected with light freckles, shoulder length brown hair in messy braids, petite built, flat chests, wide hips and thighs, no breasts yet, small waist, golden-tanned skin from summertime, berry lips, big curious brown eyes, intrigued expressions, one sitting on the curb with legs spread wide, the other kneeling between them, whispering, hands sliding over the seated girl's thighs and up her skirt, both young faces flushed with excitement, a flutter in their chests as fingers brush underwear, sun setting to their backs casting long shadows ahead, summer street noise muffled by the alley, an illicit thrill permeating the frame.
